Kinvara Balfour launches ‘The Visionaries’ film series

The writer and director has unveiled a set of mini-films shot solely on iPhone

Kinvara Balfour, creative director, writer, producer and daughter to the Earl of Balfour, has launched a series of mini-films, The Visionaries, celebrating “human beings who see and do things differently”. Shot exclusively on iPhone and broadcast on YouTube, the videos are designed to represent the lives of visionary individuals in a format that suits the habits and expectations of viewers in our digital age.     

Manolo Blahnik 

The visionaries featured in the series come from all walks of life: there are fashion and accessories designers such as Manolo Blahnik, Mary Katrantzou and Stephen Jones; beauty entrepreneurs such as Charlotte Tilbury; and creative talents such as the set designer Es Devlin, the screenwriter Peter Morgan and the photographer Charles March.

The first six episodes of the series will go live on Kinvara Balfour’s YouTube channel on Friday 17 November, with further films released thereafter on a bi-monthly basis.
