Inside Harrods’ new Roastery and Bake Hall

The first stage of a two-year transformation of the historic Food Halls has been unveiled

Harrods has opened its new Roastery and Bake Hall to the public as the first phase of its two-year project ‘The Taste Revolution!’, designed to give a new lease of life to its historic Food Halls.

At the Roastery, visitors can enjoy freshly made, high-quality coffee prepared in front of their eyes by the master roaster Bartosz Ciepaj and his team. As well as being available to drink in store, all of the blends are packaged to be enjoyed at home, or why not make a personalised roast at the tasting counter?

At the scratch bakery, there are delicious artisanal cakes, breads and croissants showcasing the creative talent of the master baker Lance Gardner. Listen out for the chime of the bell as each fresh batch is taken out of the oven. Plus, while you’re there, don’t forget to browse the range of Harrods’ legendary hampers – perfect for a truly memorable Christmas gift.

The Harrods Roastery and Bake Hall are now open.
