The shooting and fishing set comes to London

Devotees of country sports will gather at Islington’s Business Design Centre this month

This month, the best in wing shooting and fly fishing comes to London. Following the success of last year’s London Fly Fishing Fair, the father-and-son duo John and Fergus Kelley are now also bringing the biggest names in shooting to Islington’s Business Design Centre.

Shooting and fishing have been part of the Kelleys’ lives for many years. However, John and Fergus Kelley felt that “there was no real focus in London” for these sports and hope the many opportunities for visitors to get involved will introduce a new generation to both fly fishing and wing shooting.

The London Wing Shooting Fair will host industry experts who will lead workshops, debates and discussions, as well as being home to the finest countryside brands, selling everything from shooting equipment to clothing and accessories.

In light of the success of last year’s exhibition, the London Fly Fishing Fair is back with an indoor casting pool and displays from some of fishing’s premier names. The fair will also hold a range of talks, presentations and films on several aspects of the sport, including screenings of the new film Chalk.

The London Wing Shooting Fair and London Fly Fishing Fair take place at the Business Design Centre, Islington, on 23 and 24 March. Tickets cost £15 in advance or £20 on the door.
