The A List: 1 February

A tasty Channel Islands export, plus a must-see exhibition and the ultimate concierge service

Caragh Chocolates Hailing from the tiny island of Sark in the Channel Islands are these delicious truffles and bars, with no fewer than 10 varieties. The thick local cream gives them a stand-out flavour.

Andreas Gursky Sprint to the Hayward Gallery, which has finally reopened after two years, for this incredible retrospective of one of the all-time greats of photography, running until 22 April.

Stephen Shore at MOMA New York A pioneer in colour photography, Shore is still considered ground-breaking for his work in the 1960s. Not only are his images mesmerising but you can also now follow him on Instagram! The exhibition is on until 28 May.

Stella McCartney Kids The designer’s new range of fun swimwear – the cutest one-pieces around – has come out just in time for half-term.

Butter cake at Mastro’s Steak House According to someone I love dearly, this is the best dessert in the whole world, and who am I to argue? Definitely large enough to share, this vanilla-sugar-encrusted cake, served at Mastro’s branches across the US, comes à la mode, and with a bowl of fresh whipped cream to boot. Beyond words.

Entourage Concierge A life-changing service for those of you without a dedicated PA. Not only will you start unwittingly relying on them for the simplest things but you will also be wowed by their bevy of expertise in everything from party and holiday planning to ticket access.
