The A List: 12 May

An unmissable pop-up shop, a once-in-a-lifetime auction and art for one night only

Jewellery by Catherine Prevost

Catherine Prevost pop-up shop Don’t miss this trunk show of some of my favourite things, including Prevost’s gorgeous jewels, Samantha Sung’s sundresses and Wiggy Hindmarch's beach frocks. 26 May; 35 Queensgate Terrace, London SW7.

The Bright Stuff by CJ Simister (£13.99, Pearson Life) A great book for parents who want to find innovative ways to encourage curiosity, initiative, perseverance, individuality and problem-solving. The everyday games and activities for all ages can even be slotted in during meals or in the car.

Four Seasons Restaurant auction Wright presents this extraordinary auction at the eponymous restaurant in NYC. Five hundred lots of designer furniture, tableware and objects will be on offer, including works by Mies van der Rohe, Hans Wegner, Philip Johnson and Ada Louise Huxtable. 26 July; 99 East 52 Street, New York, New York 10022. This website stocks the largest selection of sports bras in the UK, so you will undoubtably find the perfect one; I am particularly partial to Falke for good support while running.

Dear Evan Hansen This new off-Broadway musical about popularity and teenage angst has taken NYC by storm. Try to see it with the original cast, which includes talent from Pitch Perfect…

Lipstick Queen The brand’s Mystery shade looks dark but goes on in a perfect tint of berry. I am not normally a lipstick person, but trust me on this!

Art Night On 2 July, join all of London in celebrating art for one night only. Events will take place in a bevy of public spaces, including a disused tube platform, a luxury flat and even Admiralty Arch.
