Gemstones and Glaciers with Remote Lands This luxe Asian outfit has created a brilliant itinerary for mid-June. Explore Yakutsk, the city of gold and diamonds, then sail to Lena Pillars National Park to experience both a traditional shamanic ritual and a celebration of Ysyakh, the sun festival marking the Yakutian New Year.

Rainbow cookies My girls are obsessed with making these! Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
3 1/2 tbsp cream cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
Food colouring (purple, pink, turquoise)
Silver candy balls
Sprinkles
Edible glitter

Method
Mix all ingredients and separate into three balls. Blend each ball with one colour and freeze for 20 minutes. Separate each ball into 8 portions and roll the three colours together into a snake. Cut each snake in half and twirl into a mound. Decorate (a lot!) and bake for 15 minutes at 190°C.
