The Spa at Ritz Carlton, Tokyo An immaculate experience with stunning wet and dry saunas, Sodashi Rose Crystal Anti-Aging Facials and Heated Body Masks on offer.

B-Side Label, Tokyo Adjacent to the kooky shops of Harajuku, this tiny retailer only sells Osaka-designed stickers – but thousands of brilliant ones at that.

‘Nagashima Yurie: And a Pinch of Irony with a Hint of Love’ I am completely obsessed with this show at the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum – and if you can’t get there, the coffee-table tome (sort of) does it justice.

The Gutsy Girl: Escapades for Your Life of Epic Adventure by Caroline Paul (£17.99, Bloomsbury) A brilliant gift for girls aged seven to 13 – or even for us young-at-heart women who need a dose of active inspiration.

Truffle season at Brunello Bar and Restaurant The chefs at this hotspot in the Baglioni hotel have curated the ultimate tasting menu using black truffles from both Piemonte and Acqualagna. Each course has been expertly paired with Charles Heidsieck Champagne, so there’s a chance to try the divine Blanc des Millénaires 1995 and classic Brut Millésimé 2005. For 10 days only from 10 November, diners will be able to enjoy six courses including quail eggs with truffles, celeriac and leek compote and seabass fillet au gratin with pistachio served with a truffle sauce.

Omorovicza Moor Cream Cleanser A beautifully soft cleanser that removes dirt without stripping your skin of moisture.
