Walpole announces 2018 Brands of Tomorrow

Twelve of the best entrepreneurial British businesses have been honoured

Walpole, the industry body for the British luxury sector, has announced its 2018 Brands of Tomorrow. The founders of these 12 entrepreneurial British businesses, notable for their creative approach and remarkable growth potential, will benefit from a year’s worth of coaching and mentoring that will enable them to hone their commercial skills and expand at pace.

Among the brands to be honoured are Asceno, Poppy Sexton-Wainwright and Lauren Leask’s fashion label specialising in elegant sleepwear and swimwear; the game-changing online flower-delivery service Flowerbx; a female-founded Irish whiskey company called Chapel Gate; and Kathryn Sargent’s eponymous Savile Row tailor. Skincare, sportswear and luxury leather goods are among the other product categories represented.

Previous participants in the programme, which is now in its 11th year, have included household names such as Charlotte Olympia, Emilia Wickstead, Bremont and Nyetimber, with more than 95 luxury brands receiving support since the 2007 launch.

The full list of Walpole’s 2018 Brands of Tomorrow is as follows: Asceno, Flowerbx, Love or Nothing Baby, Rae Feather, Castore, Hamilton & Hare, Malle London, The Jackal, Chapel Gate, Kathryn Sargent, Method Studio and Votary.
